I used the following opensource software and would like to recommend others to use them.
Embedded Files
WPS Office is a lightweight, feature-rich comprehensive office suite with high compatibility.
WPS Office allows you to edit files in Writer, Presentation, Spreadsheet, and PDF .
diagrams.net (previously draw.io) is a free and open source cross-platform graph drawing software.
Its interface can be used to create diagrams such as flowcharts, wireframes, UML diagrams, organizational charts, and network diagrams.
diagrams.net is available as online as cross-browser web app, and as offline desktop application for Linux, macOS, and Windows.
Supported storage and export formats to download include PNG, JPEG, SVG, and PDF.
It is a powerful tool for organizing and managing music collection.
It can edit tags of most modern audio formats, supports ID3v1/v2, Vorbis comments, APEv2, WMA and MP4(iTunes) tags.
You can rename files according to information from the tags, import tag information from filenames or other sources, perform any text replacement and transformations in tags and filenames.
You can create playlists in one click and export your collection to HTML, Excel or any user-defined format.
A flexible photo sorting tool that uses the EXIF information of your photos and videos to copy or move them into a structured folder hierarchy.
It takes your photos and nicely sorts them into a new folder structure auto generated based on the criteria you chose.
It is a fast and easy to use application for finding and removing duplicate files.
It searches single or multiple directories for duplicate files by comparing any combination of file name, size, modification date and content.
You can exclude files based on their name, file type, attributes or size
It Presents a list of all identical files so you can decide which ones to remove/delete or move move them to another directory
It allows to export the result list to a text file
PDFsam Basic is a free and open source solution for casual users.
It Split, merge, mix, extract pages and rotate PDF files.
PDFsam Enhanced and PDFsam Visual are two commercial solutions for professional users to edit, sign, convert, fill forms, visually combine, pages reorder and more.
A personal assistant to automatically manage your files.
Drop a group of different files and folders on the floating DropIt image and it sorts them to defined destination folders, compresses or extracts them, opens them with associated programs or performs other defined actions.
DropIt is available in both install and portable packages.
Python is a programming language that lets you work quickly and integrate systems more effectively.
Python is powerful... and fast; plays well with others; runs everywhere; is friendly & easy to learn; is Open.
A 3D parametric modeler.
It offers tools to produce, export and edit solid, full-precision models, export them for 3D printing or CNC machining, create 2D drawings and views of your models, perform analyses such as Finite Element Analyses, or export model data such as quantities or bills of materials.
An alternative to Microsoft Project : Project Management software
It is a decision analysis tool. You can use it for ranking the options you have, or alternatively, you may use it for resource allocation (budgeting) problems.
In PriEsT, you enter a list of available options and then define your criteria for prioritization. After defining criteria,
PriEsT allows you to enter your judgements against each criterion, which are then used to calculate the final ranking (or weights).
