The implementation of the third Friday Catch-Up Activities by DepED Region 02 took place yesterday, as it coincided with the Mid-year In-service Training for Teachers on January 26.
Despite the scheduling challenge posed by this convergence, teachers adeptly integrated Catch-Up Fridays into their curriculum development. They focused on creating Lesson Guides for the National Reading Program and seamlessly integrating Values, Peace Education, and Health components. Schools were gearing up for the full-scale implementation of Catch-Up Fridays, scheduled for February 2. Director/Regional Director Benjamin D. Paragas, PhD, CESO III, and ARD Florante E. Vergara once again encouraged teachers to fully implement the NRP and integration methodologies during this period.
In the pursuit of academic excellence, the resolute call from Regional Director Benjamin D. Paragas, PhD, CESO III, and ARD Florante E. Vergara reverberated through the educational community during the In-Service Training. They emphasized the paramount importance of fully implementing the National Reading Program and fostering the seamless integration of Values, Peace Education, and Health components during the preceding Catch-Up Fridays.
As January 26 unfolded, educators stood united in their commitment to delivering a robust educational experience, steadfastly adhering to the prescribed guidelines set forth by the DepED Region 02 leadership.
