SWOC Analysis of the Department:

S- Strength: Sincerity and dedication of the teachers to take regular classes.

W- Weakness: High Student –Teacher ratio, lack of separate departmental space

O – Opportunities: Started Departmental Library , remedial classes taken for weaker students.

C – challenges: To increase motivational interaction with the students

Future Plans:

1) To start the Honors Stream in History in the college.

2) To introduce distance course in M.A in History.
