In 1986 Kid's Stop Inc. was incorporated as a privately held company in Healy, AK. Twenty three years later the Kid's Stop board re-organized, and operation of Child Care Services was taken over by the Early Learning Coalition in 2009, a non-profit organization. Currently, the organization does business under Denali Preschool and Learning Center (DPLC).
