The goal of this site is to explore the themes of Democracy and Authoritarian through a fresh and contemporary lens. The name TR3ND reflects our aim to stay current and to share three distinct voices, perspectives, and interpretations.
I graduated from Moscow State University (Baku Branch), where I studied Philology with a focus on Modern Western European Languages and Literatures. My academic background has given me a deep understanding of how language shapes thought, identity, and communication all of which are central to political life. I’m particularly interested in how politics influences language, and how language, in turn, plays a role in shaping public opinion, policy, and everyday political discourse. Through this lens, I write about current events and political phenomena, aiming to bring a critical, language-aware perspective to the analysis of today’s complex sociopolitical landscape.
I graduated from the University of Catania in 2024, where I studied Foreign Languages with a focus on Arabic Language and Literatures, along with History. My academic background has shaped a strong interest in the intersection between language, history, and politics. I believe that understanding a country’s past profoundly changes the way we perceive its present — and that the language used to describe political realities can influence how those realities are experienced, both locally and globally. In my writing, I explore how political narratives are shaped by historical memory and linguistic choices, and how language itself can become a tool of power, resistance, or transformation.
I hold a degree in Communication Sciences and Languages (L-20) from the University of Catania, where I developed a strong interest in sociology, history, and semiotics. For me, writing about politics means analyzing not only the facts, but also the language, symbols, and cultural contexts that shape them. In my contributions, I aim to offer a critical perspective that pays close attention to social dynamics, narratives, and the meanings underlying contemporary political phenomena.
