Dell Inspiron 1420 Drivers For Windows 11,10 and Possibly 8.1,8 and 7

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE DRIVERS!!!

As you know, Dell Inspiron 1420 only supports Windows Vista and Windows XP officially, which means this computer is useless now! Fortunately, it supports Windows 7,Windows 8(hmm better not use this),Windows 8.1 and ultimately Windows 10.You may want to try Windows 11 but I have not tried it yet, as Microsoft threatened not letting unsupported hardware to receive Windows Update currently. (8 February 2022 Update) Windows 11 runs fine and install updates normally in Dell Inspiron 1420!

First of all, I would like to state that my drivers collection are:

1.Tried and installed in my own computer(a Dell Inspiron 1420) so it is 100% fully compatible

2.Safe from viruses and malwares(scan it with your antivirus if you are still doubtful)

3.The latest for the time being(19 December 2021)

4.Downloaded from almost all driver update software in Google(see the following picture)

Note: Some drivers may not work because my computer hardware is not same with yours so I better tell you my computer specs and you should avoid installing the drivers:

System Chipset: GM965

Graphic Adapters: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family

Processor type: Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5250 ( But I am using T9550 now with BSEL mod)

Printer:HP Laserjet 1020

Scanner:CanoScan D646U ex

So the possible differences is just my graphic adapters,processor drivers,printer and scanner!Anyway,if you didn't have these devices it won't install it into your laptop so no worries :)

Now, please check whether you are wanting drivers for 32bit(x86 architecture) or 64bit(x64 architecture), else it won't work. If you don't know how to check it, please google it yourself.

You will notice that I uploaded three folders that contain drivers and why:

1.Double Drivers Folder: Makes it easy for you to update all your drivers with just one click!

2.DISM Drivers: In case driver(s) can't be installed using double drivers folder,use this!

3.Powershell Drivers: In case driver(s) can't be installed using the above folders,use this!

4. .exe files Drivers: Only for bluetooth and audio driver installation!

*Special note for Windows 8.1 webcam users!The camera driver won't work in chromium browsers (such as google chrome and microsoft edge).You need to use USB video device driver instead.If you are a firefox users,do not install this driver.

Instruction: right click the windows icon in the left bottom of your screen,select Device Manager,select imaging devices(look for unknown devices if this option is not showing),double click the Laptop Integrated Webcam,click drivers tab,click update drivers, click browse my computer for driver software,click let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer,select USB Video Device,press next and done!
