Call Description

Delafield Promotion and Tourism and the Outdoor Arts Committee, invites professional artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for a new outdoor public art initiative.

Delafield is a Lake Country community where natural beauty, small-town character, and active gathering spaces intersect. This project is intended to create a distinctive, destination-driven public artwork that strengthens community identity and encourages visitation.

Artists are encouraged to propose work that is visually compelling, durable, and engaging at a civic scale. While the community brand—“It’s In Our Nature”—reflects Delafield’s connection to landscape and lifestyle, artists should interpret this idea broadly. Literal interpretations are not required.
