I was using a 0.6 zoom lens for this image. I used a 1/60 Shutter speed to capture enough lighting and create a little blur from the movement mixed with an ISO at 200 since I aim to keep the image less noisy.
The reason being I took this photo was because, it’s something that I’ve always been able to see quite a few amounts of times in a month since I often travel and this mall is like a connecting point towards various destinations. It’s pretty much a memorable place to me where a lot of events in my life, I passed through here to get to those locations.
For this image, I used a standard 1.0 zoom lens. I took some other setting adjustments but I end up with this combination. 1/3 Shutter Speed, an ISO of 125 made the shape of the droplets visible and clear hence I settled for that. This setting also reduced the reflection of light on the glossy table enabling a better highlight for the subject.
The reason for why I took this photo is very accidental. I just got home at the time, so I took out a bottle of water and let it stand on the table for a while. The coldness dissipates and as soon as I lifted up the bottle to drink, I saw the droplets perfectly placed behind the bottle’s former position. Mundane things like this are often left out of the mind and brushed off, but it simply was satisfying to take a picture of this kind every once in a while.
For this image, I borrowed my sister’s phone to take a picture of it. I used an ISO of 3200 and a Shutter speed of 0.3s to enhance the lighting of the image since it was a foggy night. I took some other shots but this was one of my other attempts that I liked the most. The Aperture I used was set on auto during this shot.
I took a photo of the moon through the branches and leaves of an old guava tree near my house. I initially wanted to get a clear view of the moon during the time but the sky is entirely foggy during that night. So I just decided to amplify the lighting in the image since it’d be a little bit to discern the position of the moon behind the clouds.
For this image, I used an ISO of 900 and a fast shutter speed of 1/400. This setting made the colors come out as more vivid. Aperture was also set on auto this time, but it did good on the output image. The blurring of the background made it good for the main subject’s outline to standout in the image.
I took a picture of this wild hibiscus in our yard since it was the most unique out of all the available options present. It’s usually variations of Santan flowers but I figured, it’s better to focus on a single flower alone for the image so I ended up taking a picture of it. It turned out pretty well still though I think I should’ve taken the image at the morning.
For this image, I decided to use a Shutter Speed of 1/50 and a very high ISO (8,000) for a test. Aperture was 1.9 also as experimental. The shutter speed was set that way to create a blur in capturing the motion.
I initially wanted to capture an image of the blades of a fan but it wasn’t turning out okay at the time so I tried to look for a different subject and saw my cat on the table. The motion was a bit slow and the lighting was pretty okay at the time.
