PROJECT STATEMENT

I’ve heard a lot of broadcasting and radiobroadcasting in my secondary school year days so I figured that I’d try to experience doing it by myself. My plan is to create a radiobroadcasting recording where I’ll tackle mundane day-to-day news which will be written down with a script to follow. I might also drop some ad-lib in between.

I will be recording most, if not all of the audio clips of this project in my room using an external microphone. I’ll be using audio editing applications such as audacity (which I’m still getting the hang of it so far but it’s doable.)

Project Plan:

A script will be made using various news events and articles as references. The script will function as the main guideline for what’s to be discussed in the broadcast recording. I already have certain news to be used as reference for the script and the recording of clips will be executed immediately right after. I’ll make sure that my words are clear and have proper emphasis and pronunciation as well.

Logistics:

I’ll be performing the entire recording clips that’ll be used in the project. I’ll also be making use of audio editing applications in refining the output of the project. I’ll be doing the recording in our house. I’ll be making some minor adjustments at the place to ensure that I get a good sound recording as it is quite spacious.

Equipment:

I don’t really have much equipment to use since it’s actually my first time dealing with doing a proper audio recording. I made some purchases for some equipment that I might need and use for the project.
