Tagging
How to tag:
Hang your item on the hanger (any type hangers are accepted) with the hook facing left, like a question mark (?) If your item slips off, consider adding a strip of hot glue to the hanger to provide some grip, or you may pin your items.
Create your tags on 3x5 notecards or using cardstock. Write your card in RED if you want your items to go half-price at the end of our sale. We HIGHLY recommend this; your items will sell better!
Please don’t overprice. People shop looking for bargains! For clothing, we suggest at least 75% off of the original retail price, depending on name brand & condition.
In the upper left hand corner of your card, write your consignor #.
In the upper right, write the item size.
In the middle of your card, write a brief description of your item so we can match it up if your card becomes separated from your item.
In the bottom left, write "D" (for donate) if you wish to donate the item after the sale.
In the bottom right, write the price of your item (whole dollars ONLY, no .50 or .25 increments)
Pin your tag to the upper right side of your item.
Tagging Shoes:
Attach pairs of shoes using twine.
Pin tag or tape to bottom of shoes.
We recommend a sticker or small piece of tape on each shoe with your consignor # & price.
Tagging Purses:
Please double check your purse to make sure it is CLEAN & EMPTY before you bring it to the sale.
We recommend stuffing your purse with tissue paper or plastic shopping bags to help keep its shape.
Tie your tag using ribbon to the handle of your purse.
Please zip-tie your purse to a hanger, this is to help avoid stolen purses. (It's hard to sneak out if there's a giant hanger attached to your purse!)
Tagging Home Decor items:
Create tag with item description in middle, price on bottom right & D on bottom left (if you are donating). Write tag in RED if you want your items to go half-price at the end of the sale. (We highly recommend this!)
Attach tag using painters tape for flat items or tie on tag with yarn/ribbon. Price items to SELL (50-75% off retail at least).
