The DES PTA is happy to announce we are once again sponsoring the Talent Show—an event designed to celebrate the incredible talents of our students! However, this year we are going to be making some significant changes to the Talent Show. The most notable change is that only students in grades 4- 6 will be eligible to participate. While we strive to be as inclusive as possible with our events, the number of volunteers and the amount of time required by each volunteer to put the show on in the past is not sustainable. Another change is that acts will be selected by audition. This means that students really need to have their acts fully prepared at the time of the audition. Registration forms must be completed and turned into the front office no later than Wednesday, March 15th. Audition and event date(s) and times can be found in the PDF below. Students in all grades are welcome to submit a picture of a work of art to be shown in a brief slide show at the beginning of this event. Simply email it to Pamela Powers, Parent Volunteer/Talent Show Coordinator, at ppowers08@gmail.com and include your name, grade, and teacher’s name.
