Teacher Training 

Designed, developed, and implemented continuous professional development in computational thinking skills for K-12 teachers from a group of 13 schools in India. Details of the teacher training can be found in The Training Center. 

Instructional Designer (Summer 2020) 

• Designed and developed two courses for the department of Educational Studies at Purdue University – EDPS 556 and EDPS 557.

• Assisted in moving the courses from Blackboard to Brightspace.

• Designed course layout and structure.

• Provided help and guidance in development of weekly learning objectives and align assignments to the objectives.

• Developed discussion boards customized to different groups/cohorts of students

• Assisted in development of grading structure within Brightspace

• Created step-by-step guides/ job aids for instructors to carry out specific functions/actions in Brightspace

Skill Based Volunteering | United Way 

Service Group Project for United Way as part of the Learning System Design (572) class. – Developed one of the learning modules for the project in a group of 4 – on the subject of ‘Skill Based Volunteering’.

• Experience in developing and creating learning solutions that drive measurable impact to the organization and align to organization’s and learner’s needs 

• Experience in developing face-to-face learning experiences

Excel Center | Training module-Computer Applications 

Developed a training module for adult learners at Excel Center for the basic understanding and use of Computer Application – Specifically Google Apps

• Conducted needs analysis based on learner surveys and management inputs

• Defined course outline and scope

• Developed lesson plans

• Developed training material and handouts/ job aids

• Conducted a round of evaluation with the management at Excel Center

• Revised and rebuilt the training module based on feedback
