Proceeds from this year’s event (Spring 2026) will be donated to the Decorah Community Free Clinic (DCFC), and the Iowa Food Hub (IFH). Funds raised will directly support DCFC/IFH ensuring continued free of charge essential healthcare services for those in need, and supporting local wholesale delivery which benefits both local farmers and consumers. By participating in DECORIDE through any kind of your support, all involved individuals contribute to an initiative that promotes both a healthier lifestyle and accessible healthcare for the community.
Event Day Program
Join us for a day of cycling and community! The ride starts at Luther College Bell, an iconic landmark of Luther and led by our tour lead riders. From there, we’ll follow the campus trail, continue along College Drive, and ride beside the scenic trout stream. There are two distance options, one which completes the whole Trout Run Trail (12.7mi), and one which turns around at the first aid station (7.9mi).
A highlight of the ride includes passing by the state fish hatchery, where you can pause to enjoy the fresh spring air and the beauty of the surrounding water and nature. Two aid stations will be available for water refills, rest stops, and friendly chats with volunteers from our recipient organizations.
The ride finishes at Pulpit Rock Brewing Company, where a cash bar will be open for refreshments. Celebrate your ride with a drink while enjoying live music and a raffel draw!
