• National Program on 5G : Based on National Digital Communication Policy (NDCP) 2018, and Make in India initiative by GoI through MeitY funded “5G Research and Building Next Gen Solution for Indian Market” (Sept. 2015 to Sept. 2018, extended by a year to Sept. 2019), a new initiative has been adopted on “Next Generation Wireless Research and Standardization on 5G and Beyond”. Participating institutes includes CEWiT-IIT-Madras, IIT-Bombay, IIT-Madras, IIT-Hyderabad, IISc.-Bangalore, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Delhi, and IIT-Kharagpur.
