About me

A dedicated teacher working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), interested in pedagogy and youth engagement in learning. Roles have included teaching Business at Key Stages 4 and 5, Economics at Key Stage 5 and Computer science at Key Stage 3. While studying for my Postgraduate degree I also gained experience as a graduate teaching assistant delivering Undergraduate lessons and mentoring to students studying social anthropology, social science, psychology, and criminology. I also have experience as a Teaching Assistant in SEND settings. Before teaching, I cultivated a successful management career in the hospitality industry.

Presented at conferences including; the fourth annual Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Cybersecurity and Society (LINCS) and The Association for the Study of Play (TASP) conference 2022. Experienced in project and team management, strategic planning, and deadline management, as well as a confident presenter and teacher who can impart complex information to stakeholders of various levels.
