Anglicans are professing Christians, in fact, the third largest Christian denomination in the world behind Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches. Most Anglicans in the world live in Africa. One thing that makes the global Anglican Church unique is we embrace both our Protestant and Catholic legacies. Some see us as reformed Catholics, some as the “via media” (middle way), although we are part of the Protestant Reformation. We are “orthodox” in faith, based on the authority of the Bible, and contend for the faith “once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.” (Jude 3)
