October 22, 1945: Renamed as Dagupan Junior High School
1946: DCNHS Transferred from Torres Bugallon Avenue
1948: Renamed as Dagupan City High School
1950: Transferred to Tapuac, Dagupan City
1978: Dagupan City High School turned into a National High School

Vision
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable culture-based and complete basic education where:
Students learn in a child-friendly, and gender-sensitive, safe and motivating environment
Teacher facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner
administrator and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen
Family, community and other stakeholders are actively engage and share responsibility for developing life long learners
THE STEM PROGRAM
"To broaden access to quality education in the Science and Mathematics Oriented Curriculum and to develop a science culture among students with the view to prepare them for higher learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and other allied courses, the DCNHS Special Science Class was implemented."
THE ARTS PROGRAM
The Special Program in the Arts (SPA) was ranked 17th nationwide among those offering the SPA Curriculum. This award affirms the outstanding quality of education our artist getting from their mentors. Another affirmation was witnessed after DCNHS bagged the championship award during the “Sanengseng” a chorale group competition of the public and private secondary schools of Dagupan City spearheaded by His Excellency Most Reverend Socrates Buenaventura Villegas, Archbishop, Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.
