2. Practice using different softwares to create designs and projects in your own time (especially if you have no prior experience) - so that you can identify what you're good at, and what you like to use as well as what you might need to practice a bit more
3. Use most of your independent study time in the Graphics room - here, you will have the tools you need for the development of your project at your disposal, and perhaps you can focus on your other subjects at home, where you have everything you need for them
4. Use the teachers! - they are willing to help you and encourage you to send them emails if you're stuck
5. Practice hand-drawing your designs - parts of your projects will require you to hand draw your designs, so it's useful to build these skills independently beforehand
If you're stuck for inspiration, email you're teachers and they are likely to use you links to designs and websites that they think will help with your idea
"Youtube", "Pinterest" and "Behance" - will be incredibly useful for general inspiration and influences for your designs and also for watching tutorials on how to use Photoshop, Maya, Illustrator and other software programs you'll be using
