1. Use the first few weeks of Year 12 to explore different techniques and mediums and inspirations

2. Make use of the mini-presentations at the beginning of the year to help you talk about art in a formal - useful for your final essay

3. Start with the title of the project and run with it - just make sure everything at the end is linked to the title

4. Spend your study periods in the art rooms, where you have access to all the materials you need and you can produce the best work you can

The teachers! - you can brainstorm ideas with them and they can steer you into the right directions. They'll encourage you to be independent whilst guiding you on the right path.

Practice - practising art on your own and exploring different mediums and techniques is a great way of knowing what you like to use and what you want to incorporate into your own final pieces
