Culture and heritage as engines of innovation
Abstract: What do major discoveries inside the Great Pyramid, a 17th-century shipwreck and the scientific study of Notre-Dame de Paris inside a Teleport 1/1 have in common? They all became laboratories for innovation within a software company dedicated to the industrial world. This talk explores how working at the edges of science, art and heritage produces innovation that travels far beyond its origins.
