Kendra Crossen Burroughs
I am a writer and editor with a background in trade book publishing.
I have been a follower of Meher Baba (a “Baba-lover,” in his phrase) since 1968. A native of New York City, I now live in South Carolina, near Meher Spiritual Center in Myrtle Beach.
I am literary executrix for my father, Kendell Foster Crossen, author of vintage science fiction, pulp fiction, and detective mysteries, including the Milo March series (written as M. E. Chaber). He was the creator of the Green Lama, a Buddhist superhero with mystic powers in pulp novels and comic books of the 1940s. The Green Lama has begun to move forward into new original fiction and other media, including the work of Adam Lance Garcia.
My publications include Bhagavad Gita: Annotated & Explained (2001) and Selections from the Work of Sri Ramakrishna: Annotated & Explained, (2002), both from SkyLight Paths Publishing. My Meher Baba articles have been published in the Glow International and Love Street Breezes as well as the former Love Street Lamp Post.
