FlyBoy's Deli
How could you not want to try a place with a name like Flyboy's?!
I was impressed by their marketing techniques and brand-new menu items to pull in various crowds. For example I saw a poster for new Korean street food options. Unsure if they sell it daily or if it was for a special occasion turning up however I like the concept! What I actually liked most about this deli is the place. Incredible wall murals, interesting and linked concepts, and small details to make it all come together. Even the fans look much like an airplane prop!

The deli uses an abundance of sandwich alternatives made with newly sliced deli meats and cheeses. You can finish you meal with different deli sides (pasta salad, cole slaw, macaroni salad, etc.) and a variety of salad, soups, and drinks.
It also has draft beer. This is a popular place for soccer in Dayton. Beers come in cans or on tap. I had a can of Warped Wing Trotwood. I had the Yeager Power. It has to do with $10 for the chips and sandwich. This was a pretty big sandwich. It includes velvety hummus. Veggies consisted of avocado, peppers, and tomatoes.
My husband had the Triangle Club sandwich - ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo on toasted bread. It was a mouthful, in a great way! You might taste the freshness of the sandwich being sliced to order. He paired it with a pasta salad and naturally some New York style cheesecake. They had a whole case of delicious looking desserts like chocolate mousse cake and cheesecake which are not published on the menu.
Whatever was terrific at Flyboy's from the service to the food to the environment. Keep in mind you are eating a dining establishment in Dayton Ohio which boasts about its New York City similarity, so the food here isn't low-cost. All in all for a sandwich, beverage, side, and dessert, it was close to a $35 for both of us Not something I can budget plan for or validate frequently, but absolutely worth a try. They also offer breakfast sandwiches and an excellent Espresso bar.
It has several Televisions at the bar. It's a great location for viewing sports. They seem to get soccer fans there. This is a popular location for soccer. Beers can be found in cans or on tap. I had a can of Warped Wing Trotwood. The beers have to do with $3 for a can and $5 on tap.
This is "The Location" in Oakwood (a suburban area of Dayton) to stop in for a pint or a glass of red wine after work. It's a welcoming and friendly bar with a wonderful rooftop, you can carry your drink to when the weather allows. The rooftop location was of course safe and had a good view and airy sensation about it.
