I have led 2 faculty workshops and seminars each year at Beijing Huijia Private School for local and international teachers as well as mentoring two novice teachers within the Biology department.

Managing Behaviour and Lesson Structure

I was asked by the VP to share some of my strategies of teaching with the local teachers in order to improve their lesson structures and how it impacts behaviour management and just sharing of best practices that work for me in my classroom. I explored ideas of behaviour, how to make rules and the importance of consistency

This was a resource that I prepared for the VP to share with the local teachers to explain the importance of effective classroom management and why it is important to tackle even low level disruption to offer a better learning environment.
