My name is Mahipaul Dayaram, but everyone calls me Ron (except students, they call me Mr. Dayaram).

I was born in Guyana, a very small country in South America. At a young age we moved to New York City and then a few years after that my family settled in Canada. It was here where I spent most of my life, I completed high school and two degrees in Canada.

After graduating from Teachers college I knew I wanted to teach my own classes full time right away, so I moved to England and began teaching Science in a school outside of London. Two years after I wanted to explore the possibilities of the International Baccalaureate curriculum. I did so in Beijing, teaching Biology at a private school for 2 years.

Currently I am in Kazakhstan teaching Biology in one of the NIS Intellectual Schools.

As you can see, I love to travel and love to see, read, experience our world; this really blends into my teaching.
