I’m David Hyseni, a motivated mechanical engineer with a deep passion for race engineering, CAD design, and simulation. My engineering journey began with a fascination for motorsports and a desire to push the boundaries of vehicle performance. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in 3D modelling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and finite element analysis (FEA) through various personal and academic projects.
Race Engineering: Vehicle dynamics, powertrain engineering, strategy development, performance optimization
CAD Design: Proficient in SolidWorks and Fusion 360
Simulation & Analysis: ANSYS (fluent and mechanical) and MATLAB
Problem Solving: Leveraging data analysis to refine designs and optimize outcomes
Team Collaboration: Experienced in working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solution
I believe that the key to engineering excellence lies in a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and continuous improvement. Whether it’s optimizing the airflow in an intake manifold or designing complex mechanical components for motorsport applications, I’m driven by a constant desire to learn, innovate, and contribute to cutting-edge engineering solutions.
I hold a 1st class Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from London Southbank University, where I gained a solid foundation in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design. My hands-on experience with CAD and simulation software has allowed me to bring theoretical concepts to life through practical applications. Alongside my academic background, I’ve worked as a Leisure Centre Assistant, where I developed strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and I’m now focusing on furthering my career in race engineering and motorsport technology.
When I’m not working on design projects or running simulations, I like to spend my time drawing and exploring my creative side through art. I find that drawing helps me relax and also sparks new ideas for my engineering work. Music is another passion of mine, and I enjoy listening to a wide variety of genres, often using it as a source of inspiration during my projects.
I’m also an avid motorsports fan, and I love watching races and events, keeping up with the latest in the world of motorsport technology and performance. Additionally, I enjoy playing MMORPG-style video games, where I can immerse myself in complex virtual worlds and work on strategy and problem-solving in a different context. Gaming not only provides entertainment but also enhances my ability to think critically and quickly adapt to challenges.
