The rover was my first experience with sheet metal. Although it looked intimidating at first, it helped to teach me how sheet metal worked and how I could use it in my designs. The rover was from a 2D drawing with given dimensions.
The two plates above were made for a practice test and a real test (left and right respectively). It was easy to make both components and took very little time. Their purpose was to hold other bodies through joints, hence the holes for dowel rods.
