1 year postdoctoral researcher position 

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work on molecular simulations of protein dynamics, involving MD and Markov state models. The project focuses in understanding internal friction in fully functional states of proteins. The postdoc will enjoy the wider community of the Quantum Chemistry group at the University of the Basque Country and the international atmosphere of the Donostia International Physics Center.

Essential qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Physics or Biochemistry.

• Expertise with theory and practice of molecular simulations.

• Comfortable with the Python programming language.

• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

• Previous work with Markov state models.
