This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS app published by David Cederbaum on the Apple App Store ("the App"), and explains how it handles information.
The short version: the App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Nothing you do in the App is sent anywhere.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, and have no ability to access, any of the following: your name, email address, phone number, or postal address; your location or GPS data; your contacts, photos, calendar, health data, or files; device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or IP address; usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data; or any content you create or enter into the App.
The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no tracking pixels, and no third-party data collection tools of any kind.
Data Stored on Your Device
Any settings, preferences, or content you create in the App are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and is not accessible to us. If you delete the App, this locally stored data is removed with it. You can also clear it at any time from within the App or through your device's storage settings.
No Third-Party Sharing
Because we do not collect any data, we have nothing to sell, share, rent, or disclose. The App does not share user data with analytics providers, advertising networks, data brokers, third-party SDKs, or any parent, subsidiary, or other related entity.
No Tracking
The App does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, because we have no need for it.
Apple and the App Store
Downloading the App from the App Store is a transaction between you and Apple. Apple may collect information about that transaction, such as purchase and download records and aggregated, anonymised App Analytics, under Apple's own Privacy Policy (see apple.com/legal/privacy). We receive only anonymised, aggregated statistics from Apple, such as a total number of downloads. That information cannot identify you.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent laws by design: there is no data to collect, and no mechanism through which a child could disclose personal information to us.
Data Retention and Deletion
We do not retain any user data, because we do not collect any. Data stored locally on your device is under your control and is deleted when you delete the App.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA and CPRA) to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to opt out of its sale. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, delete, or sell. We have never sold or shared personal information. If you would like written confirmation of this for your own records, email us and we will respond.
Security
Because no data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, there is no server-side data that could be exposed in a breach. Data on your device is protected by your device's own security features, including your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS encryption.
Changes to This Policy
If the App ever changes so that it does collect data, we will update this policy, change the date at the top of this page, and clearly describe what is collected and why before the change takes effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
