Although I am a personal trainer and teacher of movement, I believe that fitness is too important to be left solely in the hands of health & fitness professionals. I’m deeply interested in helping people to find ways to participate in the creation of their own unique fitness.
I’m a teacher, not a lifelong gym rat. Not a retired athlete. Not an ex-bodybuilder.
I decided in middle age (which up to then was largely sedentary) to explore what I might be able to do with my body. I’ve never looked back. Today, I can do things that I couldn’t do when I was younger. And I feel more comfortable and capable in my body than at any other time in my life.
As a professional educator, I’ve made a life-long study of how people learn. I combine a deep understanding of learning, teaching and the principles of skill acquisition with a passion for helping people identify and work toward their own movement goals. I’d love to work with you toward yours.
(And I love ice cream. And pizza. And dogs.)
