Summary:
My teaching interests and background primarily lie within the fields of economic geography, cultural geography, urbanization, rural-urban divides, and Marxian political economy. I take pedagogy and student intellectual development very seriously, and plan to continue teaching throughout my academic career. I have been a teaching assistant in the Department of Geography at the University of Leeds, as well as a lecturer at the International University College of Turin. I have taught both undergraduate and masters level students. Topics I have taught include economic geography, histories and theories of urban modernism, the political economy of rural-urban divides, urban resistance movements, suburbanization, psychogeography, and more.
