Other research and teaching interests

I have numerous other research and teaching interests beyond my PhD thesis and teaching experience. I have always had a keen interest in Marxian literary theory, particularly in relation to anti-capitalism and critical urban studies within the literary and cinematic genre of American Noir. I also have significant interest in Situationist theory, to which I am working on a piece regarding a Situationist perspective on the revolution of everyday rural life. I also have interest in the following areas of study:
