All guild members will be classed as inactive if they have not logged into any of their linked characters for three months.
Officers who fail to come online for two months without prior notice risk demotion to Wolf rank. After that they are liable to the same removal rules as all other members of the guild.
Anyone flagged as inactive is usually contacted initially through our Discord, giving them a warning that they are about to be removed for inactivity. If no response is received, or if they are not on our Discord, then all their characters will be removed from the guild and their role on our Discord (if they are still present) will be changed from Member to Guest. Those who have been given the Guest role are welcome to remain in our discord, although will have more limited access to channels.
Should you have problems getting into WoW for a long period of time for any reason, you can contact us through our Discord, where we can discuss options.
If you know you are going to be away from the game for more than three months, but intend to come back, please let us know so that we can place you in the MiA rank. This will ensure you aren't removed from the guild accidentally prior to your return and also protect the guild should your account be hacked. Your alts will be removed from the guild to reduce roster clutter.
The MiA (Missing in Action) rank is a minimal access rank, to protect the guild against hacked accounts whilst members are away from the game. Members in the MiA rank who return to activity will be placed back in the Cub rank and then subject to the normal roster rules. They can then get their alts re-invited if they wish.
Occasionally someone will be removed from the guild for a reason other than inactivity. For example sometimes members ask us to remove their characters from the guild if they've decided to move to a new guild, or just decided ours isn't suitable for them.
Sometimes a member will make it obvious that our guild is not a suitable home for their characters and they will either be encouraged to leave under their own steam, or we may remove them ourselves.
The guild is an adult-only guild and we expect members to behave like adults. This means that, although we encourage conversation and a bit of banter, we also expect members to know boundaries and self-monitor. The last thing we want is for people to be made to feel uncomfortable or upset. If a guild member is causing this, then their behaviour will be reviewed and this may potentially lead to their removal from the guild.
Note that if your goals in-game have changed, that is a "you" problem, not an "us" problem. Please don't expect the guild to bend/change rules or change its ethos or how it operates, just to suit you. We are happy to fully support and assist any personal changes you want to make - if you would like to remain in the guild whilst you trial other guilds, for example - we just expect you to treat us with respect whilst doing so.
We have a firm grasp of our guild identity. People join for that and stay because of it. This also means that occasionally, during periods of high application levels, we may close applications until new people have integrated well into the guild. This is to avoid "dilution" of our identity.
