These thermal bags are filled with survival items for family members of children airlifted from the outer islands. Many times, in an emergency, a parent, auntie, uncle, or grandparent will be airlifted with the injured child; they may have absolutely nothing for themselves for this trip. These bags are a lifeline when they most need them.
No one ever wants to bury a child, but there are times when it is unavoidable, heartbreaking, and emotionally draining.
This project seeks to supply families with a custom-made preemie gown or boys' romper similar in style to a baptismal gown/ romper.
