Hand football is more than just a team, it is a brotherhood, strengthened by our everyday experience of being together on and off the field. With 13 State Championships, we raise the bar on a daily basis and focus not on the individual player, but the team success as a whole. Hand Football requires devotion, teamwork, effort, enthusiasm, and heart. All are welcome to join us on Friday nights under the lights as long as you’re also willing to fulfill what it means to be a Hand Tiger.

Daniel Hand girls soccer is a very successful program with 3 levels of play; the Freshman team, JV, and Varsity. The girls Varsity team has made it to the state semi finals the past 3 out of 4 years, and we hope to follow suit this year with our new coach, Coach McConville! This upcoming season is still up in the air due to COVID, but we are determined to put in the work this summer while staying safe. For our summer training we are taking extra precautions such as taking temperatures before practice and having only 10 girls supervised per coach. We are the Daniel Hand High School baseball team. As one of the most successful teams in our conference (SCC) and in the state, it takes a lot of hard work in the off season and spring season to maintain a winning program. In the winter, we hold weekly strength and conditioning sessions in the Polson Weight room (dates and times TBA) and encourage players to work individually. There are two separate days of tryouts, a defensive session at the Surf Club Turf, and an offensive session at Batter Up in Guilford (dates and times TBA). All players need to be registered and should have their physicals updated through DHHS. Please inquire with the athletics office if you have questions. Please have this taken care of by March 13th. All players and families should also know that we are in season during April Vacation and have a full week of practices and games.
