The Enlighten mission was started by a group of Hand students who are passionate about improving the lives of our fellow students and community members. Each and every day we struggle and watch our peers do the same with different aspects of their mental health or support family members or friends with the same struggle. We strive to provide a safe, healthy space anyone can visit for effective resources to help them through some of the most difficult times of their lives. We stand with you as fellow survivors and hear what you are struggling with. After all, we are all in this together. Visit our website, instagram (@enlightendhhs), or cumulative resource doc (linked on our instagram) for support on all things mental health.
Dear Danny Hand is a student led podcast hosted by seniors Callie Richard and Kylie Minniti. The podcast discusses school wide events and topics such as school pride, academic culture and the numerous clubs at Hand. Dear Danny Hand uses its platform to amplify the voices of clubs and sports teams while also creating school spirit within the Hand community.

The primary purpose of Safe Rides is to keep people alive and safe by providing a safe ride home. A safe-Rides program focuses on an extremely high need to keep our friends and other drivers on the road safe when either their parents or another responsible party is not available to drive them home. Not only has the Safe-Rides program been used to prevent drunk driving, but also for a variety of reasons such as teens that need a safe ride home from work ranging from their ride having had too much to drink at a party, to a parent returning from a night out who may be under the influence and needing to get the babysitter home.
