Kirk Hammett Meeting at DH today at 4:00 pm June 7, 2022

While surfing today, I thought I saw someone who looked like Kirk Hammett. We paddled in at the same time. I looked at him and asked: "Are you who you who I think you are?" He said: "Yes." I told him I was a big fan. I congratulated him on the purchase of Greeny, the legendary Les Paul guitar that first belonged to Peter Green (founding member of the original Fleetwood Mac) and then was gifted to the great Gary Moore. We continued speaking about guitars and his upcoming tour. I told him that I also have a guitar, a Gibson ES-175, which is much better than I am. He chuckled and said that we are all just instruments, which I thought was really cool. We finished out the conversation talking about Stanley Jordan and also George Benson selling Wes Montgomery's L5 Gibson to Pat Metheny for an undisclosed amount. It was great meeting this truly remarkable and kind man.
