1:05 I introduced students to the idea of constant and dissonance in music and asked them to identify aspects of both as they relate to the music and the list projected on the board. Once students could identify those aspects, I had them play the music to reinforce these ideas.
3:05 I model for students what I want from them in terms of articulation by singing the syllable to achieve the effect. I ask the, to demonstrate their understanding by playing the selected measures of the music.
