The PetFeed project was about the development of a device capable of providing food and water automatically, and regulated by an android app, for your pets at home (cats & dogs).
This was the final work for the Mechatronic Design course during my university studies, was performed in teams and I was in charge of designing the device. The product had two simple mechanisms to be controlled via wi-fi using an Arduino connected to an Android App. In there, you could control the time, date and amount of food or water to be fed.
At the end of the day, it consisted in the control of flow of both substances using a PID Control implemented using Simulink and LabWindows and regulated with a Sg95 ServoMotor and a 5V Gear Motor.
