Reflections: These projects have allowed me to work with data from General Social Survey (GSS). After working with the GSS data sets I have gained more insight into the social justice issues, more specifically the empathy and attitudes towards homosexuality, policing, and discrimination in the United States and whether factors such as geographic location or race have a significant statistical impact. I have learned how statics can play a role in our everyday lives and help us understand discrimination and how it is perceived in our country.
