Welcome to my homepage!

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Innsbruck.

My research belongs to the field of behavioral and experimental economics and I have run

I have done extensive work examining the development of economic decision-making with age covering very diverse topics like the development of risk and time preferences, social preferences, cooperation, discrimination, or gender differences in competitive preferences. I have been running large-scale (panel) studies in Tyrolean and South Tyrolean kindergartens and schools involving more than 6,000 children and teenagers.

In a second research agenda I study honesty and moral behavior in economic decision-making. In particular, I have for instance studied the impact of monitoring and feedback devices on physician (mis)behavior.

In a third research agenda I investigate cooperative and pro-social decision-making in large-scale survey experiments. For example, I have investigated the effect of social norms and the vaccine approval procedure on vaccination intentions.
