I have almost 25 years of experience in the electricity sector as Electrical Engineer. In 2000, I joined to the largest distribution utility in Spain and I have occupied several positions related with the development, operation and maintenance of networks. Since 2016, I have been mainly focused on the national implementation of the European Network Codes and I have taken part in the national TSO-DSO working groups to discuss the technical and regulatory implementation together with other DSO, the TSO, generators, large consumers, NRA, Energy Ministry, and other stakeholders. Moreover, I also participate in several European working groups and H2020 projects, such as Smartnet and Coordinet. I was selected by ACER to join ACER expert group on demand side flexibility. Nowadays, I am an EU DSO Entity expert in the Development Team aimed to draft the proposal for the new Network Code on Demand Response in cooperation with ENTSOE experts.

In addition to all the previous full-time positions, I finished a degree in Economics with honours (2010) and PhD studies in Economics (2020). I am an Associate Researcher at the Institut d’Economia de Barcelona (IEB) and an Affiliate Researcher at the Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (CSEI). I allso write academic papers, and have an extensive experience as lecturer and speaker in international Universities, conferences, and workshops. Finally, I also review energy economic papers in top academic journals.
