Me and my mom at the MVP Arena, Albany, NY on June 22, 2023.
A lot of people would say to me that I should be happy that the education part of my life was over. However, after 10 years of traditional compulsory education, I knew that I was just getting started. Since I was young, I knew that I wanted to be a dentist because it was a steady job that could really help people and always give me a purpose. In order to be a dentist though, I would have to go to dental college, but in order to do that many dental colleges would like applicants to have a bachelor's degree. Then after the 4 years of dental college I would spend two years learning advanced study in endodontics. Totaling another 10 years. So really, I'm only about halfway through the process to getting the job I want. When trying to decide which college to go to I was made an offer I couldn't refuse to be part of the HVCC Honor's College program. A new prestigious program that offered many benefits. So, for the next 2 years I will go to Hudson Valley Community College in order to earn my associate degree.
