Personal Background:

I grew up in the small town of Poestenkill and went to Poestenkill Elementary starting 3rd grade. It was quite the change from home schooling, but I quickly adapted to the new environment. Around 5th grade I was urged by my math teacher to try a placement test for an advanced math class. She had a lot of faith in my ability, and I wasn't afraid of a challenge, so I gave it a shot not expecting much. I actually ended up being double advanced in math starting geometry in 6th grade. Despite this it was certainly no cake walk. I just about had to retake every test in the class, but I always did significantly better the 2nd time and ended up doing quite well in the class. A similar event happened in 7th grade for science at Algonquin , and I took another placement test and made it into Earth Science class in 8th grade over environmental science. Once again, the difficulty of the class required a bit more diligence, but I ended up doing fairly well. Once again in 9th grade my social studies teacher urged me to join the honors class for social studies next year despite it being my least favorite class at the time. I ended up doing so and while APUSH was quite the workload of a class, I'm glad I did, because I went on to APGAP class where I learned an incredible amount about how our political system works and the rights I maintain as a citizen. I truly believe the things taught in that class are things that every American should know. Overall, the extra effort and sleepless nights turned out to be worth it in the end.

Ambitions:

• I would like to continue my education until I can be an endodontist because it is a steady job where I could spend my life helping people and actually get to see the impact always giving my life purpose. 

• I would like to continue practicing the violin or other instruments in my free time.

• I have found pleasure in uploading videos of my gaming hobby and other things to YouTube and maybe one day this will end up being something more significant if enough people find interest. 

• Since 9th grade in Highschool I have been working hard in the gym to increase my strength and stamina. I would like to keep improving myself physically and mentally.

Personal skills:
