JaymeAnn began dancing at the age of 5 and hasn’t stopped performing since. Her dance journey began at local studios, including competition dance for 8 years. JaymeAnn is so excited to start her professional career with Dance Unlimited School of Performing Arts as a musical theatre and hip hop dance instructor. In Previous years, she has been a teaching assistant for high school dance teams who led hip hop clinics and she has multiple years of studio hip hop experience. JaymeAnn believes hip hop is a style that allows dancers to show their individuality. She is so excited to watch students grow more confident in their “poppin and lockin”!
In addition to dance, she also has developed a strong passion for musical theatre. Throughout both middle and high school, she grew to love it so much that she chose to pursue it as a career. JaymeAnn recently graduated from Viterbo University with a B.F.A in acting and minor in dance. During her time at Viterbo, she was a singer/dancer in the Platinum Edition Show Choir and was on stage in numerous productions such as 42nd Street the Musical and Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure, to name only a few. One of JaymeAnn’s biggest joys is being able to share her love of theatre and dance with others. She hopes to inspire young artists to keep working toward their goals while helping them learn that practice makes progress. A huge thank you to the Dance Unlimited team for bringing her into the family - she can’t wait to get started!
