COMPETITION TEAMS

Dance Unlimited Competition Team Purpose:

The purpose of our competition team is to supplement our dance education. We attend three to four competitions each season. We review judge critiques with the students, in order to help them grow and learn, expecting that their routines from one competition to the nextmature and grow throughout the season. Hearing critiques from not only our teachers, but also compeittion judges helps gives us more insight and motivation to constantly improve our technique and performance quality! Plus, competitions wiht your teammates are a lot of fun! All members on the team (excluding the Elite Hip Hop team) are placed on a Core Jazz Troupe in which they will compete a jazz number. After that, they make choices to add any of the following: Acro, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. We ecourage mulitple disciplines, as it improves the strength and insight of each dancer. We also offer an Unlimited Tuition Plan.

Students will grow with their team, supporting one another and doing their part to help the team grow. This includes fulfilling outside practicing expectations, conditioning, attending one another's performances, coming prepared to classes, and upholding our attendance requirements and studio culture expectations.
