Technology

In my lessons, I will always try and incorporate technology. Although most of us take smart devices and the internet for granted, I understand there are still many students who don't have access at home. It is important to me that I help these students gain experience and skills on applications that will assist them with life beyond high school.

Additionally, students will often learn best by being interactive, rather than simply being an audience. By allowing my students to work on interactive projects (like a google slide presentation) I am helping them develop important skills, while also increasing their engagement.

Lastly, utilizing technology can also have a significant environmental impact. Every year, the average instructor probably uses thousands of pieces of paper on readings and assessments. By giving access to these resources through tech devices, we can make a significant saving on waste.
