Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy of education is that all students should be pushed to maximize their own potential - mentally, emotionally and socially. My goal is to create an atmosphere where students feel safe to identify their thoughts, opinions and personalities. I want every student to realize they have something to contribute to class and can succeed academically.

As an educator, I want to assist each child in developing their own potential and learning styles. I present a low anxiety environment and incorporate various instructional methods to help all of my students. I will incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects and tie in contemporary themes to engage all of my pupils.

I have a great passion for History, Geography and Civics. With that passion also comes a belief that my own politics should be left at the door. I advocate for presenting multiple perspectives, while encouraging students to develop their own opinions. My goal is to provide a truly fair and balanced classroom that allows students to build critical evaluating skills. The only values I wish to push on my students is to treat all people with kindness and respect.
