The Internal Affairs Division is responding to general support tickets received by deputies as well as civilians. They also handle reports and write case files on reports of misconduct against deputies.

The Field Training division is responsible for training cadets and help them along their process on becoming official deputies. They are responsible for hosting trainings, giving ride alongs to new deputies within the department.

The Detective Division is responsible for helping securing crime scenes, collecting evidence, and solve severe crimes such as homicides, robberies, kidnappings, etc. 

The High Speed Unit is responsible for going after aggressive drivers that are in Dallas County. They also take primary in high speed pursuits to ensure the pursuit can be dealt with in a sfae, quick manner.
