Dalkeith Junior Chess Club is a free to play chess club with players of all different levels AND different ages, whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, Dalkeith Junior Chess Club is a great experience for EVERYONE!

 Here, we provide plenty of things to do, including chess puzzles, and CLUB-RATED games. We organise the friendly games on the day and the club is GREAT for people who occasionally have sport over the weekend since you don't need to commit to a year or a term.

 This is your perfect chance to show your passion in chess!

Conditions

If you decide to attend regularly after a few trial sessions, please register your child through the CAWA (Chess Association of WA) membership link:

Membership is $30 per person per year, or $15 for the remainder of the year if you register after 30 June 2026.

This helps CAWA cover our club's insurance and also gives your child the opportunity to participate in official CAWA tournaments. Participation in tournaments is entirely optional for those who would like to try more structured competition. We would appreciate you making that membership decision within three months of your first attendance.

If you have any difficulty paying the membership fee, please feel free to let us know. As some of you may already know, Kobe regularly busks in Subiaco and would be more than happy to cover the cost for any child who may otherwise miss out.
