Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
Daily Affirmations: Soleil (the “App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
The App does not require an account or registration.
We do not operate our own user-account or content-storage server for the current version. Most app preferences and content selections remain on your device.
We use Google Firebase services, including Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand app usage, improve the App, and diagnose crashes and technical issues.
The current version contains no advertising and is not intended to track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We do not sell personal information.
The app may store your selected affirmation topics, visual theme, widget preferences, recently displayed affirmation identifiers, onboarding status, purchase-entitlement cache, and other settings locally on your device. The app and its widget may share this information through an Apple App Group container.
We do not upload these local preferences to a developer-operated server. Deleting the app normally removes its local data, subject to standard Apple device backup and restoration behavior.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve features, usability, and overall performance.
Analytics information may include:
app usage and interaction events, such as app launches, onboarding progress, paywall views, purchases or trial-related events, widget-related activity, and successful image saves;
app lifecycle information, such as sessions and screen views;
an app instance identifier assigned to the installed instance of the App;
general device and technical information, such as device type, operating-system version, App version, language, and related technical characteristics; and
approximate geographic information derived by Google Analytics from network information.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, errors, and stability issues. Crashlytics may process information such as crash stack traces, relevant application state at the time of a crash, device and operating-system information, App version information, session information, and installation identifiers used to distinguish affected App installations.
When Google Analytics and Crashlytics are used together, Crashlytics may also receive diagnostic breadcrumb information relating to App events that occurred shortly before a crash.
We use this information only for analytics, debugging, performance monitoring, App improvement, fraud or abuse prevention where applicable, and maintaining the reliability of the App.
We do not intentionally send your name, email address, phone number, Apple Account password, payment-card details, photo-library contents, affirmation text, or other sensitive personal content to Firebase through our analytics or crash-reporting events.
We also do not intentionally place sensitive personal information in Firebase event parameters, Crashlytics custom keys, logs, or user identifiers.
Firebase services are provided by Google and process information in accordance with Google's applicable privacy and data-protection terms.
The current version of the App does not display third-party advertising.
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for product analytics and technical diagnostics, not to create advertising profiles or to track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We do not intentionally provide Firebase with the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for these purposes, and we do not use Firebase data for third-party targeted advertising in the current version.
If we introduce advertising, advertising attribution, IDFA access, cross-app tracking, or materially different data practices in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and our App Store privacy disclosures and obtain any permission required by Apple or applicable law before using such functionality.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details or Apple Account password. The app may receive limited transaction and entitlement information from Apple, such as whether a purchase is active, expired, refunded, or restored, so that premium features can be provided.
When you choose to save an affirmation card or wallpaper, the app requests the permission needed to write that image to your photo library. The current version does not use this permission to upload your existing photos to our servers. Photo access is used only in response to your save action.
The app uses Apple technologies such as WidgetKit, StoreKit, App Groups, and system permissions. Apple may process information under its own privacy terms when providing App Store purchases, refunds, device permissions, backups, or other platform services.
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message, and any diagnostic information or screenshots you voluntarily provide. We use this information only to respond, investigate the issue, keep reasonable support records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Please do not send passwords, full payment information, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Local App data remains on your device until you delete the App, reset relevant settings, or the operating system removes or restores that data through normal device backup and restoration processes.
Analytics information is retained in accordance with our Firebase and Google Analytics configuration and Google's applicable retention policies.
Firebase Crashlytics may retain crash reports, diagnostic information, and associated installation identifiers for the periods necessary to provide crash-reporting and diagnostic services.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
The app is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not designed or marketed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
You may change photo permissions in iOS Settings, manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account, and remove locally stored App data by deleting the App.
Where available and technically applicable, analytics collection may also be controlled through App configuration or consent settings.
You may contact us regarding privacy questions or rights available under applicable law.
Because the App does not require an account, and Firebase analytics and diagnostic records are generally associated with App or installation identifiers rather than information such as your name or email address, we may not always be able to identify a specific analytics or diagnostic record as belonging to you.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information processed in connection with the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Apple and Google, including Firebase services, may process limited information in countries or regions other than your own, subject to their applicable safeguards, contractual commitments, and legal requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised page will show a new Last Updated date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
